Senior Network Officer

About the role

MedNet Egypt is seeking a Senior Network Officer to manage and develop its healthcare provider network. The role involves coordinating appointments, handling results, and ensuring smooth communication between insurance companies and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive check‑up requests from insurance companies and schedule appointments with selected providers.
• Collect medical results and forward them to the insurance companies.
• Address client complaints received via customer service, conducting second‑line investigations.
• Reactivate suspended provider services and resolve related issues.
• Respond to provider inquiries via phone, meetings, or call centre and document all requests.
• Coordinate with finance to process provider payments and issue purchase orders.
• Provide swift codes to providers upon request.
• Maintain and update provider data, including additions, branch changes, and termination of services after verification.
• Support network campaigns and follow new instructions.
• Verify cash rates through test calls for renewal requests.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for network operations, processes, and cost efficiency.
• Meet with providers to maintain relationships and respond to their inquiries.

Required profile

• Medical doctor or diploma in Hospital Administration or allied health sciences (e.g., physiotherapy, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, biology, chemistry).
• 2‑3 years of experience in a network environment within the local TPA/medical insurance or health insurance sector (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, planning, and organisational abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to travel extensively both locally and internationally.
