Senior Plumbing & FireFighting Design Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Plumbing & FireFighting Design Team Lead to lead and oversee the design of plumbing and fire‑fighting systems from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design of Plumbing & FireFighting systems, ensuring technical soundness and code compliance.
• Develop and review Basis of Design Reports, design criteria, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review Life Safety Reports to meet fire, egress, occupancy and building code requirements.
• Lead the preparation and review of BIM/Revit models and coordinated design drawings.
• Develop equipment schedules, material specifications, vendor lists and BOQs.
• Review and approve design deliverables produced by the team and monitor design progress.
• Coordinate closely with Architecture, Structure, MEP and other disciplines to resolve design and coordination issues.
• Attend client meetings, present design solutions and address technical comments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate technical submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and support to the Plumbing & FireFighting team.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Plumbing & FireFighting design.
• Strong hands‑on experience in the design and technical development of Plumbing & FireFighting systems.
• Proven experience leading design teams and managing design deliverables.
• In‑depth knowledge of international codes, standards and design practices.
• Experience preparing BODRs, specifications, BOQs, equipment schedules and vendor lists.
• Strong client‑facing and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Medical Gas systems experience is preferred.
