Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

Tabarak Construction is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead supplier and subcontractor selection, negotiation and management for its construction projects across Egypt. The role combines strategic sourcing with hands‑on procurement execution to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and select suppliers and subcontractors that meet quality, cost and delivery criteria.
• Negotiate lead‑time, price and quality terms to maximise project benefit.
• Manage supplier performance against cost, schedule and quality objectives.
• Develop sourcing strategies based on portfolio analysis and supplier benchmarking.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to guarantee on‑time receipt of materials.
• Prepare purchase orders, comparison sheets, material submittals and procurement plans.
• Review tender documents, evaluate project scope and advise management.
• Interpret contract conditions during subcontractor tender preparation.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to keep tendering processes on schedule.
• Collaborate with planning and contract departments to align procurement with project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in procurement and tendering engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
