Senior Technical Architect Engineer

About the role

The Senior Technical Architect Engineer will lead the technical development of architectural projects, ensuring design integrity, buildability and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role acts as a bridge between design and construction teams, coordinating documentation and detailing throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate design development from schematic design packages and distribute tasks to the project team.
• Coordinate with design and urban planning departments to align technical work with the project vision.
• Cross‑check floor plans, marketing perspectives and saleable area documents to avoid conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with code requirements, consultant specifications and building footprint constraints.
• Prepare and present the Basis of Design Report to clients.
• Develop structural concepts that complement architectural intent and coordinate with specialized consultants.
• Manage the preparation and review of all architectural drawings, including permits and tender packages.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary drawings (structural, electromechanical, landscape, interior, etc.) and verify consistency.
• Oversee the issuance of construction‑ready drawings and respond to site inquiries.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical development on architectural projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and consultant requirements.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants and internal departments.
