Senior Product Specialist - Dermatology

About the role

Imdad is looking for a Senior Product Specialist for its Dermatology line in Cairo. The role involves promoting and selling the company's products to new and existing customers through regular visits, and also covers after-sales support such as in-service training, follow-up on collections, coaching junior staff and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coach junior staff on the market, customers and products, and help them close deals.
• Use a consultative approach to identify or create needs for Imdad products, keep customers updated on product changes and apply successful negotiation and sales-closure techniques.
• Schedule meetings with existing and new customers and present products professionally on site using sales aids and marketing data.
• Gather prospect information (ownership, working physicians, equipment, status) and update customer databases with contact details.
• Submit weekly reports on sales activity, competitor events and pricing changes.
• Follow up on accounts receivable for sales accounts under your responsibility.
• Maintain relationships with key decision-makers, doctors and key customers, and deliver in-service training for end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Bioscience, Nursing, Chemistry or another scientific field.
• 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices sales; dermatology experience is a plus.
• Cairo-based candidate; driving license and car required.
• Bilingual Arabic and English is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Negotiation, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospects and key opinion leaders.
• Time management and organisation, working at pace and handling multiple tasks.
