Senior Production Engineer

About the role

The Senior Production Engineer leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency are met. This role drives continuous improvement, optimises resource utilisation, and supports new product introductions across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to guarantee material availability and smooth workflow.
• Analyse processes, implement lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and other improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, OEE, scrap, and yield; develop action plans to close gaps.
• Ensure compliance with quality specifications, investigate defects, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead and develop production technicians, operators and team leaders.
• Maintain HSE standards, participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
• Prepare regular production reports and communicate performance insights to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret production data and drive improvements.
• Solid understanding of quality management, HSE policies and lean methodologies.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
