Senior Quality Specialist

About the role

The Senior Quality Specialist will lead food quality, safety and regulatory compliance across all store operations. Working closely with the QA & FS Manager and operational teams, you will embed a culture of continuous improvement and ensure that every product meets the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HACCP plans, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and other food safety management systems.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and product evaluations to verify compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and non‑conformances, leading root‑cause analysis and CAPA processes.
• Support supplier audits and evaluate third‑party performance.
• Identify quality gaps, drive data‑driven improvement projects and update SOPs, work instructions and checklists.
• Analyse quality data, KPI trends and prepare regular reports for management.
• Deliver food safety and quality training, coach operations teams and act as primary contact for regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine or a related field (required).
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or food safety within food & beverage or hospitality.
• Experience leading HACCP studies, internal audits and CAPA processes.
• Preferred: postgraduate qualification or professional certification in food safety or quality management.
• Preferred industry background: coffee sector or quick‑service restaurant.
