Senior SAP PP Consultant – Lead Production Planning

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP PP Consultant to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of production planning processes across our global manufacturing sites. The role combines deep SAP‑PP expertise with strong leadership to drive operational excellence in manufacturing and supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP‑PP implementation, upgrades and ongoing support for multiple manufacturing locations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional SAP teams (MM, SD, QM, PM, APO) to ensure seamless data integration.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP configurations and solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in production, capacity and shop‑floor planning.
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants and analysts.
• Oversee change‑management, training and user‑adoption initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal governance.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 12+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP‑PP, including configuration, customization and integration.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale SAP‑PP projects in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of discrete and process manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
