Senior Service Operations Specialist (Linux & Azure Experience)

About the role

SITA is looking for a Senior Service Operations Specialist to ensure high‑quality technical service delivery for its global airline and airport customers. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, resolve complex incidents, and continuously improve processes to maintain system availability.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex incident management and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor daily service operations, ensuring systems function smoothly and SLA commitments are met.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures to reduce service disruptions.
• Collaborate with technical teams on product‑related issues and recommend enhancements.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring incidents and work with problem‑management teams on solutions.
• Keep documentation up‑to‑date for processes, incidents, and service workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Work rotating shifts to provide 24/7 customer support.
• Deploy changes as required by business needs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in network (LAN, Wireless, WAN, SD‑WAN) and/or application/system support.
• Direct experience dealing with external customers and delivering services against SLAs.
• 2–3 years of experience in the ACM domain.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
