Senior Site Engineer - Architecture

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer – Architecture will lead day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring that architectural designs are executed on schedule, safely and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate contractors, monitor progress, and act as the primary liaison between the construction team and the technical office.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse zone drawings to determine material, equipment and labour requirements based on project priorities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, report issues to the Site Manager and trigger corrective actions.
• Supervise on‑site labour and subcontractor work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate inspection and testing schedules with the Quality Control Department and implement corrective measures when needed.
• Prepare daily status reports highlighting performance, obstacles and corrective plans.
• Review labour productivity to keep the project within budget.
• Collaborate with other trades to maintain workflow and resolve inter‑disciplinary conflicts.
• Ensure accurate implementation of shop drawings by working closely with the technical office.
• Gather data, compile reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Architecture.
• 5–7 years of experience in site engineering or a related construction field.
• Strong command of English.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HSE policies, risk assessment and environmental considerations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).
