Senior Site Planner – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

Scatec is seeking a Senior Site Planner to join its Abu Qir, Egypt team. You will support the planning and execution of high‑voltage (HV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, ensuring alignment with Scatec’s operating procedures and delivering reliable project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Scatec’s Operating System guidelines and contribute to its continuous improvement.
• Assist the Lead Project Planner in building the Overall Master Project Programme, integrating the standard Work Breakdown Structure and baseline.
• Review contractors’ planning packages, including baselines, manpower and machinery histograms, and S‑Curves.
• Coordinate project planners and ensure adherence to Scatec’s planning best practices.
• Monitor contractor report submissions and prepare construction daily reports.
• Consolidate schedules from multiple contractors into the master programme and update the construction KPI dashboard.
• Identify critical contractual milestones, track daily site activities, and highlight deviations.
• Communicate weekly site look‑aheads, analyse gaps between planned and actual progress, and report project status.

Required profile

• Formal technical qualification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management.
• Minimum 6 years of planning and scheduling experience within an EPC environment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Experience leading teams and working on large‑scale EPC, civil construction, renewable energy, or high‑voltage network projects is desirable.
