About the role
We are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer to lead structural design for commercial and residential projects in New Cairo. The role involves ensuring designs meet current codes, providing technical advice, and overseeing construction quality.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate structural designs, drawings and documents against current codes and standards.
- Perform calculations of pressures, loads and stresses.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Obtain planning and building regulations approvals.
- Analyze configurations of basic structural components.
- Liaise with architects and engineers.
- Monitor and inspect contractor work to ensure structural soundness.
- Conduct frequent site visits and inspect property foundations.
- Check design criteria and basic designs to achieve maximum quality.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Structural Engineering.
- Experience in commercial and administrative projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Revit Structure.
- Proficiency in SAP2000, CSI SAFE, ETABS, and STAAD PRO.
