Senior Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical (PV Projects)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical to support the delivery of photovoltaic (PV) projects. The role involves preparing technical documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop drawings, as‑built drawings, and technical submittals for mechanical works in PV projects.
• Coordinate with site, electrical, and civil teams to ensure proper integration of solar systems.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and IFC drawings.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and support cost estimation.
• Prepare RFIs and follow up with consultants for approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements.
• Support procurement and planning teams with technical inputs.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in technical office roles.
• Proven experience in PV/solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems for solar installations (mounting structures, trackers, etc.).
• Familiarity with international standards and project specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
