Service Engineer – Mechatronics (Railways/Heavy Equipment)

About the role

EGTS is seeking a talented Service Engineer with a strong background in mechanical, electrical and computer engineering. The role focuses on developing, testing and maintaining integrated mechatronic systems for railways, heavy equipment and cranes.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in mechatronic systems.
• Conduct tests, simulations and system validations to ensure reliability, performance and safety.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, user manuals and testing reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production and assembly teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous field service experience, preferably in railways, heavy equipment or crane maintenance.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Hands‑on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electric maintenance.
