Site Supervisor – Waste Management Plant

About the role

Geocycle Egypt is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at its waste‑management plant. The role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous plant performance while complying with Egyptian ecological regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health, safety and environmental legislation, manage PPE stock and inspect mobile equipment safety.
• Operate and monitor plant platforms, process parameters and fire detection/prevention systems.
• Optimize feed rates, oversee stockpile aeration, temperature monitoring and maintain biomass screening equipment.
• Prepare, receive, inspect and unload alternative fuels (RDF, biomass, TDF) and manage their blending for co‑processing.
• Coordinate receipt, handling and preparation of industrial waste for alternative fuel operations.
• Maintain accurate operational data, daily performance records and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Monitor workforce attendance and support shift/resource management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in plant or industrial site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to act as a safety role model and enforce safe working practices.
• Excellent attention to detail for monitoring equipment integrity and product quality.
