Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager will join Gearbox Studios in Giza to lead the planning, creation and publishing of content across the company’s key social platforms. This full‑time, on‑site position supports both the studio’s brand and its client campaigns, ensuring a consistent and engaging digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain social media calendars aligned with marketing and production schedules.
• Write, edit and publish posts, videos, CGI visuals and behind‑the‑scenes content.
• Coordinate with creative teams to source and adapt visual assets.
• Monitor community engagement, respond to feedback and track performance metrics.
• Optimize content through data analysis, A/B testing and social media optimisation best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, industry trends and digital storytelling techniques.
• Collaborate with marketing, production and sales teams to align social output with broader business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing brand accounts and campaigns on multiple social platforms.
• Strong background in content strategy and copywriting for diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Giza and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an agency, production studio or digital marketing environment is a plus.
