Social Media Manager

About the role

Global Pacific Support is looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to create, manage and optimise content across all company social media platforms. The goal is to increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation. The role works closely with the marketing and design teams to align strategies with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and optimise content across social media platforms
• Develop creative campaigns and monitor social trends
• Analyse performance metrics to keep the online presence effective
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams on strategy
• Stay up to date with platform updates, audience behaviour and digital marketing trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding of major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and YouTube
• Excellent communication, writing and storytelling skills, with creative thinking and an eye for visual trends
• Ability to plan and run campaigns that drive engagement and growth
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later or Meta Business Suite
• Analytics tools and interpretation of performance metrics
• Basic graphic design or video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools)
• Familiarity with paid advertising and audience targeting (preferred)
