Social Media Specialist – Expo Republic

About the role

Expo Republic is seeking a Social Media Specialist to manage and grow its digital presence across key platforms. The role involves creating engaging content that reflects the brand and promotes exhibitions, conferences, and events.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content for multiple social media channels.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with event calendars.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimise strategies to increase reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and event teams to ensure cohesive digital initiatives.
• Handle community management, responding to inquiries and comments.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends and best practices relevant to the events industry.

Required profile

• Strong background in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing.
• Proficiency in content creation, planning and publishing for diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience using social media analytics tools and adjusting strategies based on data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Heliopolis and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
