Social Media Specialist

About the role

Bayut, part of the Dubizzle Group, is looking for a Social Media Specialist in New Cairo City. The role develops and implements social media strategies to strengthen the brand's presence, engage the target audience and drive organic growth, while managing several platforms, creating content, analysing campaign performance and keeping up with industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media plans across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Create and publish content aligned with the brand voice, objectives and target audience.
• Monitor channels and respond to comments, messages and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams so social media fits the wider marketing and communication strategy.
• Carry out market research and competitor analysis to spot trends and opportunities.
• Stay up to date with trends, tools and emerging platforms.
• Analyse and report on campaign performance, then optimise campaigns to improve engagement, reach and conversion.
• Engage key influencers and brand advocates, and build relationships with partners and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an agency.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, handle multiple projects and adapt to change.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools and analytics.
• Content creation, copywriting and editing.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media advertising and paid campaigns is a plus.
