Software Engineer - Testing, POWER

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer focused on testing within the POWER domain. You will work closely with senior engineers to validate automotive ECUs and contribute to the overall quality of embedded software.

Key responsibilities

• Support understanding of system and software requirements under senior guidance.
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for automotive ECUs.
• Run integration tests, debug issues, and collaborate with the team.
• Participate in validation activities following automotive standards.
• Develop and enhance simple automation scripts.
• Prepare test logs, reports, and clearly document defects.
• Learn and use automation tools such as Python, Robot, ECU‑Test, and CAPL.
• Follow team processes and attend daily/weekly meetings.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to clarify issues and ensure testability.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, including microcontrollers, interfaces, basic C and debugging.
• Basic understanding of automotive software concepts such as CAN, diagnostics, ECUs and the automotive software lifecycle.
• Good grasp of software testing concepts.
• Introductory scripting or automation skills, preferably Python.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
