Software Quality Engineer – Manual & Automated Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer to design, develop and execute both manual and automated test cases across UI, API and performance domains. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute test cases based on requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Perform API testing and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling or LoadRunner and analyse results.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to improve testing, including AI‑assisted test generation, impact analysis, intelligent prioritisation and self‑healing scripts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives – with developers, product owners and analysts.
• Enforce shift‑left testing practices, contribute to test strategy and track defect trends.
• Continuously evaluate new tools and techniques to optimise test coverage and cycle time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 0‑1 years of experience in quality control covering manual, automation, API and performance testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD pipelines.
