Spa Therapist

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Spa Therapist to join its team in New Cairo, Egypt. You will provide a range of massage and body treatments, ensuring each guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and memorable spa experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and check for contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before each service.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and treatment room, including sterilizing tools and handling linens.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and monitor their comfort throughout the session.
• Follow Marriott’s SOPs for handling inappropriate guest behavior and report any safety concerns.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license as required by local regulations.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
