Special Education Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to deliver Marahel’s inclusive education modules—including Social‑Emotional Learning, Life Skills, and Pre‑Vocational Training—to learners of determination. The role combines digital instruction through the Marahel platform with occasional in‑person sessions in Cairo, supporting each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and therapeutic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver digital and face‑to‑face learning sessions tailored to students with ASD, Down syndrome, or other learning difficulties.
• Adapt lesson activities to match each learner’s IEP and behavioral insights.
• Record session outcomes and progress metrics in the teacher dashboard within 48 hours.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification to maintain therapeutic fidelity.
• Collaborate with therapists, parents, and program managers to align interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and technology‑ethics policies.
• Contribute to monthly review meetings and provide feedback for product improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching students with ASD, Down syndrome or similar learning challenges.
• Familiarity with IEP development, behavioral intervention, and therapeutic teaching methods.
• Fluency in Arabic (English proficiency is a plus).
• Certification or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy is advantageous.
