Specifier Sales Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Specifier Sales Engineer in Cairo to drive specification and design influence with consultants, design firms, EPCs, and end‑users. You will ensure our products and solutions are written into project specifications, increasing win probability and positioning the company as a preferred technical partner.

Key responsibilities

• Engage MEP and main consultants, as well as project owners, to prescribe Schneider products in BOQs and specifications, providing design reviews and optimized solutions.
• Support consultants with technical documentation, compliance checks, and clarification during tendering, while building long‑term relationships through technical sessions and webinars.
• Identify early‑stage opportunities, collaborate with sales teams to feed qualified leads into the pipeline, and track specification status.
• Work closely with marketing, tendering, sales, and QA/QC teams to ensure correct solution positioning, fast turnaround, and compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical design or a design firm, fluent in English.

Required skills

• Design software: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Ecodial.
• Strong electrical engineering knowledge and ability to conduct technical presentations and negotiations.
