Squad Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Squad Lead to drive the successful delivery of projects within our squad, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and strong stakeholder alignment. The role combines technical project leadership with people‑development responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage risk mitigation plans, identifying challenges early and implementing proactive solutions.
• Allocate resources and prioritize tasks to maximise squad utilisation and efficiency.
• Oversee quality and delivery, ensuring the squad meets the company’s brand promise of high‑quality deliverables and excellent service.
• Collaborate with account management, HR, sales and marketing to align squad output with current and future project requirements.
• Report regularly to the CEO and other departments on achievements, challenges and proposed solutions.
• Define and track KPIs, utilisation, efficiency, quality and productivity metrics.
• Conduct investment justification using SWOT analysis to demonstrate ROI.
• Promote continuous learning, provide coaching, mentorship and performance feedback to team members.
• Develop personalised career roadmaps and support career development plans.
• Lead initiatives that contribute to organisational growth and encourage team participation in improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional squads or teams in a project‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess project risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Result‑oriented with a focus on quality, efficiency and measurable outcomes.
