Sr. Site Projects Control System Engineer

About the role

The Senior Site Projects Control System Engineer will lead planning, scheduling and performance reporting for large‑scale construction projects. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Review project files and establish initial timelines, producing tender schedules and narrative reports.
• Develop and maintain detailed baseline schedules covering shop drawings, procurement and construction activities.
• Update schedules regularly (weekly, bi‑weekly or monthly) and generate progress reports with S‑Curves, shop‑drawing status, procurement updates, site photos and invoicing information.
• Prepare delay analysis reports, assess impacts and update XER files using Primavera P6.
• Create internal annual operation plans, track target distributions and update quarterly dashboards.
• Coordinate strategic procurement plans by extracting P6 data and aligning with remaining BOQ quantities.
• Produce monthly progress presentations for top management, including quality, safety and cost indicators.
• Support project handover processes and documentation for Taking Over Certificates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on construction management.
• 5‑7 years of experience in planning and project controls within the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, perform delay analysis and coordinate with cost‑control and contracts teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 for scheduling, baseline development and delay analysis.
