STEM Instructor – On‑site Teaching (Alexandria)

About the role

Armstrong, an interactive STEM e‑learning platform, is looking for a dynamic STEM Instructor to deliver engaging, on‑site sessions for students aged 4‑18 in Alexandria, Egypt. This temporary position will use Armstrong’s hands‑on curriculum to spark curiosity and develop problem‑solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver age‑appropriate STEM lessons and experiments.
• Guide students through projects, ensuring safety and encouraging teamwork.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with the Armstrong team to refine learning materials.
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues about student development.

Required profile

• Strong teaching abilities with experience in STEM education for children and adolescents.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Background in sports coaching or physical education to integrate movement and teamwork.
• Familiarity with baseball or similar team‑based activities is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM, Physical Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with learners aged 4‑18 in formal or informal settings is advantageous.
