Stock Control Supervisor – Automotive

About the role

The Stock Control Supervisor will oversee parts inventory and purchasing processes for an automotive trading company in Katameya, Cairo. The role ensures the right quantities of spare parts are ordered, stocked, and delivered on time to meet customer satisfaction while maintaining optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Study parts transactions and determine appropriate order quantities, locations, timing, and pricing.
• Place regular, replenishment, and emergency orders with suppliers according to department policy.
• Follow up purchase orders and maintain communication with suppliers.
• Prepare parts lists for perpetual physical checks and generate stock replenishment analysis.
• Plan and supply parts for campaigns and special orders.
• Supervise inventory actions, including stock allocation and annual/monthly stock counts in coordination with finance.
• Decide economical stock depths and manage stock corrections.
• Maintain parts master data in the company’s software system and update price lists as needed.
• Support sales operations by ensuring parts availability and proper delivery procedures.
• Process receipt vouchers against commercial invoices and claim for damaged or missing parts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in spare parts purchasing and inventory management.
• Proven experience in parts operation management and inventory control.
• Strong communication, management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Excel being mandatory.
