Structural BIM Engineer

About the role

The Structural BIM Engineer will be responsible for delivering detailed structural designs and BIM models for concrete and steel projects. You will work closely with design and construction teams to ensure compliance with codes and BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural design and calculations for concrete and steel structures using ETABS, SAFE, or SAP2000 in accordance with relevant building codes.
• Build and maintain 3D parametric structural models in Revit up to LOD 350 following the BIM Execution Plan.
• Produce coordinated structural drawings, reinforcement details, and accurate material quantity take‑offs directly from the Revit model.
• Audit models and documentation to verify alignment between analytical design results and construction deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience in structural design and BIM.
• Strong experience with concrete and steel structural design.
• Proficiency in Revit, ETABS, SAFE, and/or SAP2000.
• Good knowledge of building codes and BIM workflows, including BEP and LOD 350.
• Experience producing coordinated drawings, reinforcement details, and quantity take‑offs from BIM models.
• Strong attention to detail with solid QA/QC and coordination skills.
