Structure Team Leader (Ras El Hekma)

About the role

The Structure Technical Team Leader will lead the structural technical office, ensuring that all design, shop drawings, calculations and construction documentation are reviewed, coordinated and delivered in line with project specifications, codes and schedules. This role provides technical leadership across structural, architectural, MEP and BIM disciplines and supports the project team in resolving on‑site technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the structural technical office team, allocating tasks based on project priorities.
• Review and coordinate structural shop drawings, design details and technical documents before submission for approval.
• Ensure all structural submissions comply with approved designs, specifications, applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, infrastructure and other disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Respond to RFIs, technical queries and clarification requests related to structural works.
• Prepare, review and manage technical submittals, method statements and material submissions.
• Monitor the status of drawings, RFIs and approvals to avoid delays and identify technical risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in structural engineering and technical office activities within construction.
• Previous experience in a technical office leadership or team‑leader role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, materials and engineering practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage technical documentation.
