Student Marketeer - Cairo University

About the role

Red Bull Student Marketeers are brand and product ambassadors who drive the brand image and product understanding on their university campus and in their region. The program aims to reach new consumers, excite university students and increase sales, combining direct contact with consumers, product trials and work at Red Bull events. It suits students who value flexibility over a 9 to 5 job and enjoy a creative working atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: live the brand personality and values in everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
• Grow the user base by inviting positive trial and awareness through product sampling, answering consumer questions and concerns.
• Build and run an insight-driven, campus-tailored plan that engages and excites students.
• Create a strong network with key local individuals and drive brand engagement on social media with authentic content.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull is available and visible in outlets, and help open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Maintain Student Marketeer tools, plan and report activities on the dedicated online platform, and share ideas with the team regularly.

Required profile

• A second or third-year Cairo University student.
• Excellent communication skills, charismatic, energetic, positive and outgoing, with a creative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Immersed in student life, with a thorough understanding of the university, city and region.
• Ability to manage part-time work and studies, ideally available some evenings and weekends.
• Passion for the Red Bull brand and product, and a desire to learn marketing, negotiation and sales.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
