Supply Chain Specialist – Imports & Foreign Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Supply Chain Specialist to lead our import operations and foreign procurement activities. You will be responsible for sourcing international suppliers, handling all import documentation, and coordinating shipments to ensure a seamless supply chain from purchase order to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end import and foreign procurement processes.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with international suppliers.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders with overseas vendors.
• Coordinate freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearance agents.
• Monitor shipment status and guarantee timely delivery.
• Maintain import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.
• Track inventory needs and coordinate replenishment plans.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and internal policies.
• Analyze supplier performance and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement, logistics, and supply‑chain activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain smooth operational flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in imports, foreign procurement, logistics or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of international purchasing and import procedures.
• Familiarity with shipping, customs clearance and freight documentation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
