Systems Engineer – IT Infrastructure Administration

About the role

The Systems Engineer is responsible for administering, maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes both physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, backup solutions, and core infrastructure services to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage virtualization platforms.
• Support Active Directory and DNS services.
• Monitor server performance and availability.
• Perform backup and recovery operations.
• Apply patches and security updates.
• Troubleshoot system‑related incidents.
• Maintain system documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of storage and backup solutions.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified, VMware VCP, ITIL Foundation.
