Technical Architect

About the role

DiA Design-itude is seeking a Technical Architect to transform design concepts into precise, buildable technical documentation. You will work closely with the project team to ensure high‑quality, code‑compliant solutions from design through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and modify architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections) using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, guaranteeing technical feasibility and accuracy.
• Develop and coordinate specifications, technical details, and documentation that guide construction.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
• Collaborate with structural and electrical engineers/consultants to align architectural and technical requirements.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss technical issues, materials, and detailing.
• Support project schedules and documentation throughout design and construction phases.
• Review drawings and models for quality control and accuracy.
• Maintain Revit BIM models for technical detailing and coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with BIM workflow experience.
• Strong attention to detail in preparing technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with architectural materials, building systems, and construction techniques.
• Good knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
• Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary coordination.
