Technical Director - Physical Security

About the role

The Smart Infrastructure Technical Director leads the complete technical lifecycle of physical security and low‑voltage systems across multiple projects. You will ensure that video management, access control, networking, and related platforms are engineered, installed, tested, and handed over to clients safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate system designs, engineering drawings, schematics and technical specifications for VMS/CCTV, access control, data networks, video analytics, data‑center infrastructure, BMS and IoT platforms.
• Support detailed engineering, BOQ/BOM validation and technical submittals during design development.
• Lead implementation and installation activities, coordinating site teams, contractors and vendors while monitoring workmanship and compliance.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, testing procedures and schedules, ensuring timely project handover.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot issues across engineering, installation and commissioning phases, and act as escalation point for complex cross‑system problems.
• Approve shop drawings, as‑built documents and method statements, ensuring alignment with project requirements, codes and manufacturer guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full technical lifecycles of security and smart‑infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide design, implementation and commissioning engineers.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Deep understanding of industry standards, manufacturer recommendations and best practices for low‑voltage systems.
