Technical Lead - Azure DevOps & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Lead to own the design, implementation, and operation of our Azure‑based Data Mesh Platform. The role combines deep Azure DevOps expertise with infrastructure automation to enable reliable, scalable data product delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve CI/CD pipelines and Azure Databricks environments.
• Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform and manage Azure services such as Data Factory, Data Lake, and networking components.
• Translate architectural guidelines into actionable implementation plans.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, performance and cost efficiency.
• Act as primary technical contact for stakeholders and support incident resolution.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize backlog items and deliver releases.
• Mentor engineers, set goals, provide feedback and conduct performance reviews.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or software engineering.
• Proven production experience with Azure Databricks and Azure data platform services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a technical team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Azure cloud services (including Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake).
• Terraform for Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Git and YAML‑based CI/CD pipelines.
• Azure networking concepts (VNets, subnets, private endpoints).
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• DevOps, DevSecOps and cloud architecture principles.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace, SonarCloud, AquaSecurity, Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
