Technical Product Owner (Remote)

About the role

Authority.inc is seeking a full‑time, remote Technical Product Owner to lead the definition and delivery of high‑impact features for its industry intelligence platform. You will act as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that product decisions are data‑driven and aligned with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, creating road‑maps that balance short‑term needs with long‑term vision.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, and analytics—to drive feature development from concept to release.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product strategy.
• Monitor delivery progress, remove impediments, and ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and business analysis capabilities.
• Proven product management experience with backlog prioritization and road‑mapping.
• Technical background or experience in software development to communicate effectively with engineers.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, or a related field; agile experience is a plus.
