Technical Sales Representative – Steel & Tensile Structures

About the role

FTH-industries is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Representative to promote its steel and tensile structure solutions. The role combines strong sales capabilities with deep technical knowledge to address client needs in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive technical understanding of the company’s products and tailor solutions to client specifications.
• Identify and engage new clients, deliver on‑site presentations, and conduct field sales activities.
• Negotiate contracts, close sales, and ensure proper documentation is passed to relevant departments.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers and provide post‑sale support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a proven technical sales record for non‑engineers.
• 3‑5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the steel industry, tensile structures, or shading solutions.
• Strong presentation abilities for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• Own a car for client visits.
