Technical Support Engineer – Hybrid (Cairo)

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides post‑sales product support, training and consultancy for AVEVA applications across the region. The role is hybrid, with 50% of the time spent in the Cairo office.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver second‑line product support and resolve customer technical issues promptly.
• Provide specialist product training at AVEVA training centres and customer sites.
• Assist in deployment and configuration services for customers.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop scopes of work and proposals.
• Offer industry‑specific consultancy and pre‑sales support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS and current versions of AVEVA InTouch and System Platform.
• Understanding of HMI/SCADA architectures and industrial automation.
• Domain experience in process control for Food & Beverage, CPG, Metals or Discrete manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
