Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides post‑sales product support, training, consultancy and implementation for AVEVA applications, helping customers in the region achieve reliable and sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine second‑line product support and promptly resolve customer technical issues.
• Deliver high‑quality specialist product training at AVEVA training centres and customer sites.
• Contribute to deployment and configuration services for AVEVA customers.
• Assist technical managers in developing scopes of work and proposals for consulting and customization services.
• Offer industry‑specific consultancy and pre‑sales support as required.

Required profile

• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience with current versions of AVEVA InTouch and System Platform.
• Understanding of HMI/SCADA solution architectures and industrial automation.
• Domain experience in process control for Food & Beverage, CPG, Metals or Discrete manufacturing.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages a plus.
• Collaboration mindset and ability to work in a virtual team environment.
