Technical Support Engineer – On‑site (Rotational Shifts)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join Orion’s IT team. The role provides first‑line technical support to end‑users across multiple locations, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person and remote technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals and software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and ensure data security in line with company policies.
• Perform system updates, patches and upgrades to keep the IT infrastructure stable.
• Document incidents, solutions and maintain the knowledge base or ticketing system.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, setting up workstations and access privileges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (a plus).
• Proven experience in an IT support role providing technical assistance to end‑users.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
