Technical Support Specialist – Payments & APIs

About the role

Mamo is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to help merchants troubleshoot payment‑related issues. You will investigate problems across payments, APIs, and integrations, turning complex technical details into clear explanations for non‑technical customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end customer issues, from simple queries to deep technical investigations.
• Diagnose payment failures by reading logs, tracing transactions, and identifying broken components.
• Translate technical findings into plain language for merchants.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to report bugs, document patterns, and improve the platform.
• Maintain a high quality bar for every interaction, ensuring merchants feel better after each contact.
• Gather and share customer feedback to help refine products and user experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on technical support experience.
• Strong understanding of payment flows and where failures can occur.
• Comfortable reading API documentation, interpreting error codes, and spotting misconfigured webhooks.
• Clear, patient communicator who avoids jargon.
• Ownership mindset – problems stay with you until resolved.
• Curious, investigative nature with empathy for customers.
