Technical Team Leader - Fintech & .Net

About the role

The Technical Team Leader will guide a software development team delivering fintech solutions built on the Microsoft .NET platform. You will ensure high‑quality code, align development with product goals, and act as the bridge between engineers and management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team through full project lifecycles, providing technical direction and architectural guidance.
• Review and approve code, enforce feature/branch freezes, and ensure testing deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with BAs, UI/UX, QA and other stakeholders to keep user stories clear and up‑to‑date.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals, and maintain on‑time delivery rates above 85%.
• Guide responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools and validate all AI‑generated outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, including 1‑2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft .NET Framework (VB.NET or C#)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, XML
• Web Services, Web APIs
• Object‑Oriented Programming, SDLC, architectural patterns
• MS SQL Server or Oracle (ER diagrams, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• TFS and Agile development practices
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
