Technical Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader (TTL) drives a software development team through full project lifecycles, ensuring high‑quality delivery that aligns with product and business goals. Acting as the bridge between developers and management, the TTL provides technical direction, enforces process standards, and mentors team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development team, participate in architecture discussions, and define technology choices.
• Estimate tasks, set timelines, and track progress against sprint goals.
• Review and approve code, enforce feature/branch freezes, and conduct personal testing cycles.
• Produce testing reports, monitor KPIs such as code quality, test coverage, and bug ratios.
• Coordinate with BAs, PMs, UI/UX, QA, and service teams to maintain clear requirements and release readiness.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals, and ensure on‑time delivery of at least 85% of tasks.
• Follow internal staging, release, and security policies; document lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage a team, communicate risks early, and maintain high delivery standards.

• Microsoft .NET Framework (C# or VB.NET)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, XML, Web Services, Web APIs
• Object‑Oriented Programming, SDLC, architectural patterns
• Advanced database expertise with MS SQL Server or Oracle, including stored procedures and ER diagrams
