Terraform DevOps Engineer – Remote

About the role

Cisco is seeking a Terraform DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, automated AWS cloud infrastructure. The position is fully remote from Egypt and will collaborate with Cisco's US teams to support enterprise systems and emerging AI/ML platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
• Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules, workspaces, and state‑management strategies.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Apply cloud security, networking, IAM, and compliance best practices.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of AWS services.
• Deploy workloads with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) and other cloud‑native services.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enable scalable, reliable platforms.
• Support AI/ML pipelines, data workflows, and autonomous AI agent orchestration.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform, Terraform Cloud, and IaC best practices.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Knowledge of networking, security, IAM, and compliance in AWS.
• Familiarity with event‑driven systems and automation frameworks.
• Interest or exposure to agentic AI frameworks and AI infrastructure.
• Collaborative mindset with ownership and passion for resilient cloud platforms.
