Trade Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of annual trade marketing plans that support our sales and marketing objectives. The role focuses on designing promotional activities, consumer campaigns, and channel strategies across traditional, modern, and wholesale trade to boost sales and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual trade marketing plans aligned with company goals.
• Design and execute promotional activities and consumer campaigns.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor actions to uncover opportunities.
• Create channel strategies for traditional trade, modern trade, and wholesale.
• Plan product launches and in‑store activation initiatives.
• Ensure merchandising standards and brand visibility at points of sale.
• Monitor product availability and distribution performance across channels.
• Manage trade marketing budgets and optimize ROI.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams on commercial initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and retail partners.
• Analyze sales performance and promotional effectiveness, providing actionable recommendations.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Trade Marketing team.
• Establish and track KPIs for trade marketing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and market execution standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in FMCG or the Food Industry.
• Proven ability to develop trade marketing strategies and increase market share.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
