Transport Specialist

About the role

TaskUs, a global provider of outsourced digital services, is seeking a Transport Specialist to oversee its fleet operations. The role will ensure vehicles are safe, compliant, and cost‑effective while supporting the company’s fast‑growing technology clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all processes, operations and schedules of the vendor.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for fleet operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Control fleet costs, including security usage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and environmental standards and remain in good working order.
• Oversee driver training, compliance with company policies, and safe driving practices.
• Monitor vehicle usage and performance to optimize resources and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, registration, inspection, and related legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle history, maintenance, repairs, and associated costs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance and other departments to align fleet services with business needs and budget targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fleet or transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle compliance, safety regulations and insurance requirements.
• Ability to analyze costs, fuel consumption and maintenance data to drive savings.
• Experience supervising drivers and coordinating training programs.
• Excellent organizational and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with multiple departments.
