Treasury Planning, Analytics, Performance Management & Reporting Manager

About the role

This managerial role sits in the Treasurer's Office, within the Treasury & Markets Department, and supports the Treasurer's function. It covers treasury planning, analytics, performance management, reporting and treasury business activities. The successful candidate works closely with the Group Treasurer on internal and external treasury reporting and helps the Bank manage its assets and liabilities on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Treasury strategy and planning process
• Treasury financial data modelling and analysis
• Treasury activities analysis and reporting
• Treasury performance management
• Treasury business improvement processes
• Treasury research analysis and reporting
• Develop and establish accurate treasury reports with Senior Management, the Group Treasurer and other departments

Required profile

• First degree in accounting, financial management, economics or a related field, plus a postgraduate degree in a relevant field (a recognised professional certification may be accepted in lieu of a postgraduate degree)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an accounting firm or financial institution, preferably in financial services
• Recognised professional qualification in Treasury (e.g. AMCT, CTP, ACT certifications) or accounting (ACCA, CiMA, CPA) is a strong advantage but not required
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting for treasury activities
• Solid grounding in financial systems, database methodologies and financial modelling
• Solid experience with Treasury Management Systems
• Advanced Excel skills and computer literacy (SQL, Crystal Reports)
• Knowledge of treasury, debt capital markets and financial instruments
• Excellent English communication; French, Arabic and Portuguese are an added advantage
