Trip Designer – Customized Travel Itinerary Planner

About the role

The Trip Designer will join Vantage Travel International’s Cairo team to craft culturally rich, customized travel itineraries for diverse clients. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering seamless, authentic holiday experiences in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Review client inquiries and translate preferences into detailed travel proposals.
• Research destinations, attractions, accommodations, transport, and special experiences.
• Design end‑to‑end tour programs, including costings and documentation.
• Communicate daily with local suppliers to confirm availability, negotiate rates, and ensure service quality.
• Update itineraries based on client feedback or operational changes.
• Monitor trip performance, resolve issues during travel, and support post‑trip evaluation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new tour concepts that reflect VTI’s standards of integrity and cultural exchange.

Required profile

• Strong itinerary design and trip planning abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Egypt’s cultural, historical, and experiential attractions.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple requests.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in travel planning, tour operations, or hospitality.
• Commitment to integrity, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork.
• Relevant education in tourism, hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
