Vaccines Category Lead - Middle East

About the role

Pfizer is looking for a Vaccines Category Lead for the Middle East, a strategic member of the Middle East Leadership Team. The role owns the end-to-end strategy, performance and long-term value of Pfizer's vaccines portfolio across the region, translating enterprise vaccine priorities into differentiated market strategies and leading the vaccines marketing organization. It works across Commercial, Medical, Access & Value, Policy & Public Affairs, Regulatory, Supply and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vaccines strategy and portfolio, setting brand, market and customer priorities and leading portfolio planning across established vaccines, growth assets, new indications and future launches.
• Lead category business performance, including revenue, market share, investment, profitability and resource allocation, and drive annual operating plan and long-range planning.
• Lead integrated launch strategy and readiness for new vaccines, indications and presentations, building cross-functional launch plans and tracking readiness and post-launch performance.
• Identify and coordinate commercial opportunities arising from public-health immunization programs, working with Access & Value, Medical and Policy & Public Affairs.
• Define and lead vaccine accelerators such as adult immunization, life-course vaccination and disease awareness, with measurable business, access and public-health outcomes.
• Lead and coach the vaccines marketing team, ensure insight-led brand plans and compliant marketing, and partner with Commercial Excellence & AI on omnichannel engagement and analytics.
• Partner with market and sales leaders, Medical, Access & Value, Policy & Public Affairs, Regulatory and Supply, and build a high-performing, inclusive vaccines organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, Business or a related field; an advanced degree such as MBA, MPH or MSc is preferred.
• Senior-level pharmaceutical or healthcare experience with demonstrated leadership in vaccines, specialty care, portfolio management, marketing or commercial roles.
• Proven success leading complex portfolios, new launches and cross-functional business priorities across multiple markets.
